First off, I'm sorry about the little hiatus from blogging. It seems like my life sometimes just gets in the way. Sadly, it seems like life gets in the way of everything, so yeah, no excuses about not blogging. I have a couple of things in the works though, and Really Quite Cute Fridays will be back for the month of June. I have a couple other things also planned for June, so be prepared. And I'd like to thank you for the page views so far, I'm honoured that I've gotten 388 page views in such a short amount of time, it's stunning (and no, I don't track my own views).
I also would like to start swapping with you guys if you want to. I'd be fine with international shipping, as long as you are, the only reason I couldn't do it would be because of regulations in your country (sorry Italy!). Anyways, I have access to most North American and Canadian brands, and I'll do a list of nail polishes I have ready for trading.
Hope you had a great May, and I hope you'll have a great-er June. Yay Summer!

This One's For The Cheapo's
Sally Beauty Supply is selling of all their clearance items for an extra 50% off. While I was passing by yesterday, I took a quick look and managed to grab a China Glaze in Cracked Medallion and a Finger Paints in Blue Crackle for under $2. Together. With Tax. They had a good selection of nice clearance nail, hair and other beauty products, even at the tiny sad one near my house. I'm going somewhere near a nice, big one and I'll be sure to tell you what goodies I get my fingers on there. Sally already has great clearance prices on good stuff, so this is a way to get a couple nice things for an even nicer price. In store or with the promo code 555100 online. While supplies last, as I'm told. And no, this isn't sponsored by anyone, I just like to be the bearer of fan-tabulous news :)

Turtle Day!
Tommorrow is International Turtle Day. It was created to help raise awareness of turtles. These poor little guys are rapidly decreasing in numbers, becoming threatened, endangered and even going extincint because of us. The two main reason turtles are being murdered is because of loss of habitat, as well as being roadkill. So please do us all a favor and keep your eyes on the road for little furries -or shellies- because it is so unfortunate when someone dies of vehical manslaughter but thousands of animals die from car everyday. Some of these are endangered, and alot are even people's lost pets. So do the turtles a favor and watch out for them and their friends.
I bet if it was the other way around, turtles wouldn't run us over.
Song of The Week and Why I Sometimes Hate Long Weekends (Sometimes)
Happy Belated Victoria Day! I'm sorry I didn't post this on Monday, I thought it was Sunday. We had a day off of school last Friday, and I thought the same thing happened this week. If your incredibly angry at me, I'm sorry and beware of Summer Vacation, it feels like I can forget what year it is. Anyways, onto this weeks song.
Disappointment - Walk off the Earth
I decided we needed a song by a band this week. Don't ask me why, just go with it. And trust me, this song is anything but disappointing. If Walk Off The Earth sounds familiar to you, they're thatcheapo ingeniously crafty group that played and sang Somebody That I Used To Know with 1 guitar and 5 people. So, me being the cheapo ingeniously crafty person that I am, I had to use one of their songs. Have you watched that video, do you like those kinds of things? What about them, you a fan? Anyways.... Enjoy and have a great week! See you later, I promise I will post more, I'm just a lazy person getting use to the commitment of blogging. I'm getting better though, and it's all worth it.

Julep June Boxes
Julep has released their June Maven Box products. Julep has a great beauty subscription program- think Glossybox, Birch Box and The Beauty Test Tube- where you can get three polishes or two polishes and a manicure/pedicure related item for only 19.99. Juleps polish retails for 14.99 on their website, as well as Sephora; their other stuff is usually more expensive. Please beware that this post is picture heavy. Anyways; here are this months products:
And here are the boxes, in case your wondering what each one. You can choose to add up to two add-ons for 4.99- or 9.99 for the cream. To the best of my knowledge, you can also get two or more boxes if that's up your alley.
I love alot of these, but wish you could construct your own box with three items of your choosing; or even could swap out one thing for another. I really like the colors Classic With A Twist, or Boho Glam, but I have very sensitive skin and since I can't try it, I wouldn't want to buy it for fear of getting welts or hives. The only two colors I don't like are both in the It Girl box, and they look similar to ones I have already got (for much cheaper).
Anways, you can also get your first month for 1 cent with free shipping here. This box will be different than the ones pictured above, but for 1 cent? I'd give whatever I'd get a try. Julep has nice nail polish, and they're 15 bucks a pop at Sephora.

Song of The Week- It's Different in a Good Way
Sorry about that! I think I'm just going to quit with trying with getting blogger to auto post them. Anyways, my favorite song this week is
Mates of States - Running Out
It's different than the music I normally listen too, but I wanted to do a variety of music genres, and this is a great song :) Just different. But it still has that fun upbeat mood, and doesn't contain bucket loads of swearing and PG rated video scenes (actually I don't think it contains any of either). But yeah, it is a fresh change from the songs that have usually been chosen. Which is exactly what I want, since the one thing I'm trying to stay away from is getting in what I like to call a 'song rut', basically playing the same song by different artists. Anyways, enjoy and have a great week. The weather is great here, hope it's the same for you.

When Life Hands You Lemons,...
- Make lemonade (duh)
- Chuck them at people!
- Become a magician -with help from an Internet course- and make grapes.
- Sell them and buy nail polish (tee hee).
- Make a lemon meringue pie and send me a piece.
- Throw them at life and see if they'll make the same mistake again.
- Ask 'Where do you get all these lemons from?' Actually, don’t ask. You really don’t want to know…
- Give them back and yell “I WANTED CHOCOLATE!”
- Mark them 'Return To Sender'.
- Accept them graciously.
- Ask for something else, unless you like lemons.
- Ask the guy next to you why life gave him $50,000,000.
- Enjoy the Vitamin C!
- Ask what life is suggesting.
- Be glad, it could have given you nothing
- It's okay to re-gift them.
- You really have to ask yourself what the heck is going on.
- Hide the lemons and, when life turns its back, claim you never got your lemons. Repeat until satisfied. Open a business, sell lemons, and make money.
- Keep Them! They were free!
- Grow a lemon tree. When that tree gives you more lemons, make a lemon orchard. When that orchard gives you more lemons, sell them and become rich. Then next time you see life, you can say, “Thanks for the lemons!”Life hates people who are grateful for its lemons.
- Learn to juggle. Or, even better, get an air cannon and have some real fun.
- You'd better get a taste for sour fruit.
- Ask, why not limes?
- Ponder how exactly an anthropomorphic personification of something immaterial like life can give you a fruit.
- Be thankful, it could have been much worse...
- Convince everyone that having lemons is the best thing possible.
I like to spice things up, and 'When life hands you lemon..." quotes are definitely fun to play with. Hope you enjoy!

Small Legs = Big Cute
I'll admit it.
I am obsessed with animals with really short legs. They just make me feel all warm and fuzzy; even though my cat is the equivalent of a furry, feline spaghetti noodle. So I thought I'd introduce you to one of the ridiculously cutest breeds of cats.
The Munchkin.
PS. Sorry for the tardiness, I was volunteering at an adoptathon and forgot about posting this. I know, bad excuse, my LA teacher would not be pleased.

The Munchkin.
Yes. A cat with teeny tiny legs, it's namesake being those little people from the Magical Land of Oz (think Dorothy, Glenda and the Tin Man; not Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman). They come in three leg sizes, standard, super-short, and rug hugger. And I's loves me some rug huggers.
The Dandie Dinmont should watch out. I have a new stubby legged love.
