So apparently my mind and the rest of the world don't match up. I've been thinking it was Saturday.
Oops.
But I warned you. It's Summer, and there are no days for me any more, heck, there are barely hours for me. Going to bed at 3:00, meh. Waking up at 2:30, oh well...
Anyways, this week's song is by one of my favourite artists. I've literally loved her since I was little, and yes, she has been around this long. And she's still great. Not to mention the fact that she just had a baby that is crazy adorable. Anyways, I know I'm bugging you, so I'll tell you who it is.
Pink- Blow Me (One Last Kiss)
This song needs more attention, it is fantabulous (I don't care if that's a word or not!). So listen to it! Anyways, I think I'm just going to stop lying to both of us and let the song of the week be Sunday, Monday or Tuesday. And now I'm going to stop writing because my nails are wet and typing without ruining them is taking forever.
Hope your having a good Summer (or Winter, you Aussies :P )

Maybe Rae Jepsen.
Hey guys! I know I mostly do artists a lot less known that this, but in honour of the Much Music Video Awards, I thought I'd choose a new song by the winner of the most awards. Maybe Rae Jepson. So y'all are probably either think that I'm putting the wrong first name, Maybe instead of Carly. Or maybe you thought her parents are ultra hipster-hippies. Well her name is Carly, but as LMFAO pointed out, she prefers to be called Maybe. Just listen to her song, the one that got her all those awards. It's called CALL ME MAYBE. So yeah, that's what I'm calling her. Anyways, enough with the joking. I just found that hilarious last night, did any of you watch the MMVAs last night and crack up? But this week's song of the week is her new song,
Carly Rae Jepson- Curiosity
And trust me, I half don't think you should listen to it. This chick makes crazy catchy songs; it will be in your head for days. The only way to get it out will be to get Call Me Maybe stuck in your head, which also isn't hard. Have a great week, and I highly recommend watching the MMVA reruns if you haven't seen them already.

Let It Go, And Why I Should Rename This Blog Something To Do With Procrastination
I'm sorry! I know today isn't Monday, but can we pretend it is? We had another PD Day (I know! It's great! And worrisome for parents...) and I basically sunbathed with blue all day long :P. Anyways I'm a bog procrastinator, so yeah, if any of my friends are reading this they are probally nodding. Sorry again!
Anyways, time for some of the weeek! I absolutely love this song and have been replaying it since I heard it, but according to their Vevo it only has a little over 7 thousand views. I was all like 'NOOOOO!' because it's just that great of a song. So y'all are most likely like 'what song, tell us already!'. So I will, it's
Let It Go- Dragonette
I love how amazing-tastically fant-abulous this song is. And it sheds a light on animal testing and how wrong it is in such a great way (don't worry, the video isn't, like, a bunch of bunnies dying while people stick lipstick in their eyes) and the message of the lyrics is also so inspiring. So go ahead and listen. They need more views!!!

Happy Monday! (Just Kidding)
I got the prividge of going to a Girls' Career Conference this weekend at the U of T Missisaugua Campus, and while I was there, I got the honor of meeting Kellylee Evans, the singer of this week's song. She held a presentation and sang a couple songs for us, right before her plane for Paris. It was so amazing that she stopped by to talk to us and give us such motivational words. While she talked, she also sang a couple songs, including this one:
Kellylee Evans - Good Girl
She is such an inspirational person, and does not get nearly as much attention as she deserves for a voice like hers. Thanks for reading. Till I post again...

Song of The Week and Why I Sometimes Hate Long Weekends (Sometimes)
Happy Belated Victoria Day! I'm sorry I didn't post this on Monday, I thought it was Sunday. We had a day off of school last Friday, and I thought the same thing happened this week. If your incredibly angry at me, I'm sorry and beware of Summer Vacation, it feels like I can forget what year it is. Anyways, onto this weeks song.
Disappointment - Walk off the Earth
I decided we needed a song by a band this week. Don't ask me why, just go with it. And trust me, this song is anything but disappointing. If Walk Off The Earth sounds familiar to you, they're thatcheapo ingeniously crafty group that played and sang Somebody That I Used To Know with 1 guitar and 5 people. So, me being the cheapo ingeniously crafty person that I am, I had to use one of their songs. Have you watched that video, do you like those kinds of things? What about them, you a fan? Anyways.... Enjoy and have a great week! See you later, I promise I will post more, I'm just a lazy person getting use to the commitment of blogging. I'm getting better though, and it's all worth it.

Song of The Week- It's Different in a Good Way
Sorry about that! I think I'm just going to quit with trying with getting blogger to auto post them. Anyways, my favorite song this week is
Mates of States - Running Out
It's different than the music I normally listen too, but I wanted to do a variety of music genres, and this is a great song :) Just different. But it still has that fun upbeat mood, and doesn't contain bucket loads of swearing and PG rated video scenes (actually I don't think it contains any of either). But yeah, it is a fresh change from the songs that have usually been chosen. Which is exactly what I want, since the one thing I'm trying to stay away from is getting in what I like to call a 'song rut', basically playing the same song by different artists. Anyways, enjoy and have a great week. The weather is great here, hope it's the same for you.

Too Soon
By Hey Ocean! is the 'Song of The Week'. Let me just start by saying I love Hey Ocean!, they are just amazing in my books, and the fact that they're Canadian (eh!) doesn't hurt either :) Plus, the video is one of those understated-ly amazing things, that proves something can be great without FLASHY! and boobs and butts hanging out. I mean, this is me talking -the person who bought $40 worth of glitter in one shot- so to have something not super sparkly and fancy that I like has to be good. Anyways, hope you had a great weekend, and about Sierra, I'll just tell you right now, that it is not the last misspelled post you will see from here (and by the way, I don't have a choice either :)

Song of the Week
(This was supposed to be posted yesterday, but Blogger had a hissy-fit yesterday and wouldn't let me post it)
I am really indecisive (just to let you know, I just spend 6.38 minutes trying to think of that word), and when it comes to music, I don't like just one genre. I don't really like any genre more than another. My least favourite type of music is what I like to call 'Radio Roadkill', which is basically when a song gets played on the radio so much that you can't even listen to it after a week, and it dies. I'm one of those people who listens to songs that know one else knows, but wishes they did once it's over. Anyways, I'm just going to tell you my favourite song of the week (that doesn't, no hasn't gotten airplay, or very much, or is older). And if anyone is out there reading, they can suggest songs. I'm not expecting you to like every song, but getting a chance to hear new music is a win-win for all, in my opinion. I'll try to change it up each week. So. without further adieu here's the song:
Colors - April Smith and the Great Picture Show
And yes, I heard this on a Lowe's commercial. And yes, while listening to this, I finished painting my little wall, which is now a magnetic chalkboard. Awesome, I know. This song is just so catchy and upbeat, it makes me want to do either something cute and crafty, or line dance. But, as my friend so kindly suggested, not both at the same time, because holding scissors and do-si-do-ing at the same time is a very dangerous mix.
