Get On Your Tuxes!

Wow. It's been a while hasn't it? I just checked to see when the last time I posted was. 10 days ago. Whoa. So, here's another quickie notd post, in my sad attempt to catch up... I am working on some new content and just getting out of this rut though, so yay to that!
Behold- Black Tie Affair, Hard Candy's take on this whole black and white party. And while I think you'd get kicked out of an actual black tie event for wearing this, it's fun and cute and was super cheap. They're like $4 normally and I had a $1 off coupon. This was great, one thick coat on top of China Glaze Aquadelic, in my bathroom lighting.
It's funny, because I remember that huge big dramafest between Lyndrella and Cover Band when they copied her, and now every drugstore, salon and indie brand has there own version. I personally have no problem with dupes, with any kind of brand, as long as their not too blatant and preferably in a different price bracket. What do y'all think? Do you agree with me or take a different stance?

I think school is killing me. I mean, it's only 6 more days of it, but it the past little bit that's the hardest. Teachers just love to pile on the crazy homework. Who needs slope anyways?!?! X-y intercept my ass...
Anyways, just a quick post for today. My nails have been going vast amounts of time without polish, hopefully 2+ months of Vacay will remedy that.
Here's China Glaze's Mosiac Madness. 2 coats over Julep Debra. Honestly, I found this collection a little blah. I just don't think anyone really needs 6 of the exact same polish in different colours. A smaller collection or a little bit more uniqueness would have been much appreciated. But it was clearance, so ah well.
Formula was average, a bit thick, but I think that somewhat helped with glitter application.
Anyways, nothing fancy, but a gorgeous polish none the less.

Nail Polish Revvvolution!

Hello everyone! Today I have something special to show you. Not just Revolution, but Revvvolution!
Today I'll be showing you one of Color Club's older weaker but still just as gorgeous holos. This is Revvvolution, a scattered charcoal-black holo. This is gorgeous, and in sunlight the holo really shines.
Unfortunatly though, the polish gods were not looking down upon my nails and in the gloomy Canadian weather, I did not manage to get a natural light picture :( I don`t know if it`s just me but I actually love that grainy look of holos in the shade. I don't know, is this weird? Am I the only one?
This polish was smooth and had no problems. Theres the reason I love Color Club so much. They have so many amazing colours, and the formulas are always so nice. This is three thin coats ( I wore this for a little, and got some tipwear so I added a third). The thumb is done with a cheap striper in an unknown colour and brand. Sorry!
