LOL, Isn't OMG A UFO a GR8 name?

Hey!
How's everything going? School and dance has started up, and I am sore. I have at least an hour and fifteen minutes everyday, and then two other classes, jazz and ballet for an extra hour every night. The develops and splits (3 minutes each y'all!) are killing me.
Anyways, today we have a nice old nail post, it's my OMG A UFO NOTD (sorry I had too...).
OMG A UFO is from the not-so-recent China Glaze Hologlam collection, the newest of China Glaze's four holographic collection. This collection was a.... Let down. There's not much of a better explanation. It was leaked/released a crazy amount of time in advanced, and was touted as a more affordable, more easily accessible holographic collection. And it used the same pigments as the mythical
OMG collection.
Sadly, China Glaze has lost its holo magic. It might have been a great pigment, but there wasn't enough of it to actually show up. I actually prefer the Tronica collection to this one. While it wasn't quite as holo, it had that really pretty kinda grainy look when it wasn't sunny, while Hologlam looks bland.
Anyways, for the crazy $10+ each, there was no way that I was getting any, however they went on sale at Sally's so I got three for around $1.75 each. I figured I tried this one first, as it's a cool golden-y green colour.
This was two or three coats (sorry! I forgot to write it down, or just remember...) It's really pretty when you occasionally get that holo, and it seems to love my bathroom lighting lol.
Anyways, it's a lovely polish and I like it, just for $2, not for $12.

Citrus Mixer

Hey everybody!
See I told you :D here I am with another lovely nail post. And lo and behold, we have some nail art!
Keep in mind that my nail art is crazy simple. Half moons, gradients, ombrés, simple stuff like that. I don't think I'll ever be one to paint the Mona Lisa or Last Supper on my digits.
Anyways, this is a simple duo tone colour block mani using Essence Lime Up! and Walking On Sunshine. Lime Up! is now available in the new bottles, but my pretty shimmery sunshine yellow has been discontinued.
This was three coats of each, plus top coat. Super easy, and crazy long lasting. This picture was taken on the 4th day of wear.

Late Easter

Hey guys! Hope you had a good laugh with my April Fools Joke. It wasn't the best but I thought it was pretty funny :D Just a joke though, to anyone who thought otherwise!
Anyways, it's a little late, but here's my Easter mani. I know you guys have been interested in more nail art, and I figured -while I'll still mainly be swatches and I'm never gonna be a crazy nail art person- I'd show you a little something here and there :D
I decided to do a simple pastel rainbow gradient manicure. There are a bazillion tutorials out there, so I won't right one out , but if your interested I'll post a couple links to good ones.
For this mani I used Nails Inc Nottingham Carnival, Julep Courtney, Joe Fresh Wave and Julep Renee, in that order. I used a plain white creme polish as a base for opacity.
As a first attempt, this was pretty simple. It didn't take much longer than a normal mani and the design makes it super easy to mess up, but still have it turn out great :) this looks a bit worn, I only got a chance to take pics 3-4 days after! Sorry!

Kiss Me Mistletoe

Wow guys, long time no talk! I had some issues with blogger but they have all been resolved :)
I show a lot of Color Club, don't I? But it's one of my favourite brands. It used to tie with China Glaze but there Hologlam just can't compare to the Halo Hues. Julep and Essence are close seconds, but i love everything about Color Club :D
Anyways, this collection is one of my favorites. I'd say these are all pretty HTF, but I've managed to claim 4 out of 6. Win!
Kiss Me Mistletoe is a gorgeous green foil that smells like Christmas trees :) Only two coats for my long nails to show no nail line. Color Club Perfect Molten is an exact dupe for this, in case the smell bugs you.

There Aren't Any Good Mitzi Puns...

Eek! It's been so long! I can't believe I did that, sorry! However, I have the absolute best remedy.
What is that, you ask? Well, a gorgeous polish; of course!
Here today we have the gorgeous Zoya Mitzi : aka bottle of awesomeness. Mitzi here is a grossly-beautiful yellow green. Totally weird description, I know, but it is. It's one of those ugly yet pretty things, so it goes very well with me (a little self deprecating humour never hurt anyone ;D ). It's part of the Zoya Matte Collection, which only makes me want me want Phoebe more...
Anyways... Mitzi is very quick drying, and quite self leveling, which is a very nice surprise :) this was three coats, no topcoat to change the lovely finish. Artificial lights.
So guys, you enjoying the polish as much as me? Its weird, because I think I'd not like it, if it wasn't for the fact it's matte.

Christmas Nails

I haven't done too many Christmassy things with my nails this year. Between my rat dying, and my hedgehog passing away last night, I haven't been feeling too 'in the Christmas mood' as of late. But I have done one mani I wanted to share with y'all. A very Christmassy combo of Wet N Wilds Red Red and Orly's mermaid tale. One coat of Red Red, and one of Mermaid Tale. Despite the fact I've had my Wet N Wild forever, and it thickening up a little, neither polish had application issues. Mermaid Tale is a gorgeous holo green glitter, and I love that it's enough glitter to get opaque, but is still awesome for layering. And I cannot say enough good things about Wet N Wild's Wild Shine polishes. They are super cheap, and have great formulas. They don't have too many colours, and next to none are really out there, but for as little as $.50 they are great basic colours.
This is in natural light. Whenever the sun comes out I love to take pictures, as they come out nowhere as nice if taken in artificial lights. The only problem has been is in the winter it's dark when I leave for school, and dark when I get home.
The last picture is the most colour accurate.

Wild Thang

Today I'm showing you a relatively new brand, 2 Sisters Cosmetics. I was lucky enough to win a giveaway hosted by them, and then even more lucky when they graciously offered to send mine out specially when I realised they only shipped in America (And they realised they forgot to mention that, LOL). I got 4 colours to try out, and Wild Thang called to me and my lack of dark greens- especially dark green crimes. I was a little disappointed when this arrived and I reallied that it was a teal. Luckily (I think...) it leans way more blue in the bottle than it does on the nail. This was two, easy, nice drying, naturally shiny coats. No topcoat. I believe this is pretty true to life, except my fingers turned out exceptionally red. They do not look like that! And the pictures are indoors.
Also, may I add, I think the bottle and logo are adorable. I am always fond of bottles that don't copy OPI and/or don't look incredibly cookie cutter.
